Clean India

Wow how clean and green the US is. Its a pleasure to walk on the roads.
When will India become so clean. We can also keep our country clean right. Then when are we getting started. Everyone of us is responsible to keep our neighbourhood neat and tidy.

Culture, tradition, religion ..... What are these ???

Durga Puja kotha sunei moner bhetoray ekta khushir sur beje uthe (The very thought of durga Puja fills my heart with happiness).

Durga Puja is one of my favourite "Bahana" to go to Jamshedpur on a long leave. I am a bengali and our main festival is Durga Puja but I am more of a spiritual person and i respect and believe in all religion.

I have been thinking that if festivals and cultural festivities didn’t happen then how we would have got a common platform to meet and talk to each other. All of us in this world are so different and yet so much similar in nature, be it America or India. They celebrate Christmas and we have a few more festivals added to it that’s all. Not much of a difference. We all keep looking for something or some common celebrations to keep us going in life.

These traditions are so close to our heart ... be it Eid , Christmas or Dusshera the amount of fun you have is always more when you are in a group and you always tend to enjoy more with people you are close and love to be with. Even if you are with strangers you feel better, than being alone and cribbing. Birds of weather flock together. Similarly if we belong to the same culture we identify with those people more.

So in a way it’s your culture i.e. the way you live life, the surrounding and the circumstances which holds people together and not religion, caste or creed. So its more important to have a good upbringing to be rich in thoughts and culture.

My Best Friend's Wedding

"My Best Friend's Wedding" sounds filmi right ? Kya karen yaar ..... filmi hi to hai. It's my best friends wedding. My 'Chaddi friend's wedding'. We grew up together. We went to the same school, we stayed in the same colony, we were neighbours and we shared all our secrets. Rajesh is getting married ...... oh god .... I am wondering how he will sit through his wedding when Raju and Raja bhaiya will be dancing around ...... I am wondering how will he resist dancing. Rajesh just in case you read this, let me promise I will not dance, I wont scare people away. I know U have seen me dancing several times and even I have seen that classic dance video, so I can understand how scared U must be.

Guys tum sab aa rahe ho ki nahi Jamshedpur 3rd ko, come on ...... come over ... shayad isi bahane hum mil lenge kitne mahino baad, infact after years.

I still remember my school days, we used to have such a lot of fun. Chalks and marbles all over in the classroom, Sybol sir and maths homework, which we never used to do, Usha Miss and Economics....... KS Joesph sir and economics class.

Sandy remember how we used to pass the wink in class. Sunanda the wheels, saunf and history classes..... Devratan and the blast ... and What a shame ! Booommmmmmmm !!!!!!!

The over night studies, watching bold and the beautiful in Bindu's house and the late night tea with police patroling and we trying to hide and the morning walks at 3:00 in the morning. Sindhu and me reading out history lessons aloud on the roads, Juhi reading Hindi stories for us so that we can answer the ISC final exams. Pant Miss still cant understand how I could manage to get 1 point in ISC in Hindi. Sindhu remember I had prepared light in Physics and attempted Heat in ICSE. The Ghatsila trips and long drive on the highways and i know U people still laugh that I could not see the truck which was not something that someone could miss.

Its all so fresh in my mind ... I feel I m still in my school Bala I still miss your shayaris , specially the one which U had dedicated to me.

I could not go for Bala's wedding but I dont want to miss Rajesh ka wedding.

How I wish to go back to my childhood again.. Possible hai kya ?

Look before you leap

One day in one of my previous companies the training AVP had not combed his hair ... I remember I wanted to whisper in one of my colleagues’ ear and generally my whispers can be heard miles away and look at my luck he was in the same lift with me when I made that comment. I still remember, I whispered in Charu's ear “Charu see he didn’t comb his hair". Guess what I get a reply from him stating , "Ya i got up late and didn’t get time to comb my hair"

Nabo do u remember the incident ????? Yaad hai Sreedhar Dixit and "simbly" .... oh god he was the VP of the company.

Ooops why does it happen with me.

Life ....

LIFE has many shades to it. It all depends how you live it , dragging it or living it king size. As per Ulysses life is an arch of experiences and thirst for knowledge.

We complain of so many things but is it really worth complaining ... look at the beggars on the street, the orphans and the people who have lost everything in life. We need to learn from the experiences of other people and not really learn by making or own mistakes.

We really need to learn how to handle our lives...
